Tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name's Keesha McLean. I'm a professional vocal coach and performance mentor, and the Owner-Director of Cairns Voice Studio. My hometown at present is Cairns, though I previously lived in London for 20 years.
My interests include the voice, performance, theatre, Italy - well anything Italian, travel - is a huge part of my life and always will be, fine wine, yoga, vintage clothing, handbags, my three adorable cats and enjoying life to the full!
How did it feel to win the 2017 Oceana Walk Wardrobe Makeover, Styling Session and Cup Package?
I was shocked as I rarely win anything! I entered on a whim after I saw the post on Facebook, and thought I'd just give it a go because I love Oceana Walk and my two favourite shops Vintage Seeker and Gypsett!
I love clothes and shopping, so I was very excited about the package!
You received styling and a wardrobe makeover from Pip Addison of Modern Style. How was this experience?
Pip was great fun, and gauged from our meeting that I knew exactly what I wanted. She respected this, and made the shopping and makeover entertaining and easy! And a major highlight was putting the race day makeover altogether.
What did you most enjoy about the races this year?
It was just fab to relax and enjoy the day with good friends and not think about work!
In your personal experience, what were the Cup highlights?
Watching the races drinking lovely champagne, pimms and canapés in the Wolf Blass enclosure and again, enjoying the day with great company.
Is there anything else you'd like to share with us?
I would like to thank Oceana Walk for creating such an opportunity and for the experience to enjoy shopping even more in my favourite shops!
