Fairy Falls is nestled in dense rainforest, not far from Crystal Cascade. Use the Crystal Cascade carpark, then head through the scrub on the left until you hit the creek. That's where you take your shoes off and keep on trekking to the falls.

Stoney Creek Falls
No list of Cairns waterfalls near me would be complete without a mention of Stoney Creek Falls. This crystal-clear cascade is only about 15 minutes north of town, providing the chance to chill in tropical rainforest surroundings yet still make it back to Cairns CBD in time for the afternoon meeting. Rocky walking tracks add to the allure, as do enchanting spots where you can steal a kiss along the way.
Millaa Millaa Falls
Perhaps the crown jewel of romantic waterfalls in Tropical North Queensland, Millaa Millaa waterfalls is about a 90-minute drive from Cairns. Not only are you treated to lush, tropical ferns and dreamy picnic spots, but you can drive right up to the falls in your car.
You can likewise swim right out to the falls and slither onto the rocks directly beneath them, luxuriating in the invigorating cascade of the Millaa Millaa's fresh, cool water of the falls.
